Signup List The signup list shall be maintained by the venue holding the event. RPX requires only that signups occur ONLY on the day of the event. It is entirely up to the venue when signups begin and if they will allow signup via telephone.
Signup Cutoff Players will be allowed to signup until the first normally scheduled blind increase for main tournament games. This is 30 minutes after the beginning of play.
For second games, players may signup at any time prior to the ending of the game for ring games and tournament games; for single table sit'n go's, signups are limited to a full table of 10 players. For tournament games only: Players may not sign up for second games once there are 5 or less players seated at the 2nd game table.
Seating Seating will begin 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for any game. The list will be called at this time and players will select a table and be seated by the drawing of a seat card. Any players not present when called will be added to the waiting list only upon their arrival ONLY if there are players still on the waiting list or if the game has not run for 30 minutes. A player who is on the waiting list who arrives after the last person on the waiting list was seated shall not be able to play in that game.
Waiting List Players will be seated until all seats at tables are filled. At this time, a waiting list will be started for remaining players. Those players will sit, in order, when seats are available. Players on the waiting list who are not present when a seat is available for them shall be moved to the end of the waiting list upon their return.
Starting Chips All players will start with 2,500 chips.
Chip Denominations Chip denominations are as follows:
- Green: $25
- Black: $100
- Purple: $500
- Yellow: $1,000
- Pink: $5,000
- Orange: $10,000
Blinds The blind structure shall be as follows:
- 25 minute blind levels (may be adjusted to accomodate gameplay)
- 25 - 50
- 50 - 100
- 100 - 200 color up
- 200 - 400
- 400 - 800
- 500 - 1000 color up
- 1000 - 2000
- 2000 - 4000
- 4000 - 8000
- 5000 - 10,000 color up
- 10,000 - 20,000
- Doubling each level thereafter
In fairness to players on the waiting list, the blinds will not increase
until the last player has been seated at a table and one round has been
played (the button must complete one full orbit).
Game Start Play will begin at the scheduled start time
for main games and ASAP for second games.
Breaks Breaks are scheduled as follows: 10 minutes
after each hour of play with a single exception — while players
are still on the waiting list, NO breaks will be taken; the first
scheduled break will occur immediately when the last player on the
waiting list has been seated. That break shall be at least 10 minutes
and up to 10 minutes per hour, or portion thereof, played. If the
final player is seated after 1.5 hours of play where no break has
occurred during that time, the break may be up to 15 minutes at the
discretion of the lead dealer. Breaks may be increased by up to 2 or
3 minutes to accomodate other tables still playing.
The lead dealer will notify players of the exact time they are
expected back at their respective tables.
